Claire Winteringham Biography

I hope to create beautiful paintings and designs that have a quality of bliss.

I frequently paint flowers simply because they are so beautiful. They can have a powerful presence and occupy their space with grace and even humour.

Working almost always from life my speciality is using watercolour.
Sometimes vibrant clear colour and bold shapes dominate the work, at others the softness and subtlety of the watercolour takes over.
