Pink Lilies

Stargazer Lilies have very distinctive petals and rich dark emerald leaves which make them a joy to look at and paint. In this picture, I have moved in closer to recreate their powerful presence as the flowers fall off the sides of the page.

This was selected for the Royal Watercolour Society Open Exhibition 2010.
